Otomandar kronikak I. CATEL Project.

Pasadan astean Julenek sortutako eta oso gustuko dudan “trabacaciones” hitzaren esanahia dastatzeko aukera izan dut. Istambulen egon gara CATEL Europar Proiektukoek gonbidatuta IT aditu moduan.

Last week I have been in Istambul invited for the CATEL Project team helping them to develop an e-learning course to prepare teachers/trainers and counsellors to meet the training needs of inmigrant students.

CATEL As a european project, the participants came from educational institutions of diferent countries: Tallin University-Tallinna Ülikood from Estonia, Bildungsmarkt e. V. from Germany, Farkom Ltd.-Ticaret Sirketi from Turkey and Usurbil GLHBI and Politeknika Ikastegia Txorrieri from the Basque Country.

The meetings took place in the Istambul Bilgi University and their aim was the initial definition of the contents of the course. I think the job was very good and now is time for IT developers.

Egle, Didem and I took some photos.

In the next entry we will talk about the days we spent visiting the city of Istambul.

  1. Although yo’ve writen in English too, I have understood all of the text. In sum, I’m happy because I think my level is improving 😀

  2. By the way, how do you say “trabaciones” in Basque? 😀

@Iñaki: I see you are working hard with your english 😉

In Basque “trabacaciones” could be “lanoporrak”, “oporlanak”, “lanorrak” but I don’t like them at all. Any suggestions?

Anyway, in english it could be “worklidays”. I like this word, it sounds very well 😉
